Chiropractic Care Effective for Low Back Pain

A recent study published in PLOS One reported that chiropractic care is effective in treating low back pain. Also of note in the study, was the conclusion that chiropractic care looks to be equally effective in treating low back pain as physical therapy. Whether the care chosen was chiropractic or physical therapy, no adverse events were noted for either type of care. The study did leave a question to be answered. The study noted that more work needs to be done on the cost effectiveness of the various types of treatment.
